Class Overview & Details

The classes are held at ranges, restaurants, businesses, private property & other locations, the range portion will be held at local or private ranges nearby! Bring a pistol and 50 rounds ammo if you have one. 18-20 year olds can get the Texas License to Carry!

If you are under 21 please leave your pistol in your vehicle! If you do not have a pistol, we have pistols and ammunition available for an additional fee. If you have never fired a handgun, we will be work with you on basic fundamentals.

The License to Carry course (formerly Concealed Handgun License) is approximately 4-5 hours of classroom time plus the range proficiency. The content of the course is established by the Texas DPS. A Texas License to Carry is honored in 38 states (must obey States individual laws). Learn the Texas Laws covering where you can and cannot carry, official signage, non-violent dispute resolution, prohibited places for weapons, when can you use force and/or deadly force, handgun & range safety.

What You Need to Bring

Bring your pistol with 50 rounds of ammunition (can now use a .22 if you want, NO caliber restriction). (We have pistol and ammo available if needed $)
BRING EYE AND EAR PROTECTION / MUFFS OR PLUGS - CAN BE PURCHASED IN CLASS - COVID19
Bring your payment. We accept CASH and checks. NO Credit Cards.
Dress accordingly for the weather. We will spend part of the day outside at the range.
